E-CLIC Groningen key focus area is ICT applications and broadband services for training purposes.
The Centre is meant to be a physical and virtual meeting place for talented students, young entrepreneurs, renowned business developers and innovative and leading companies.
E-CLIC Groningen contributes to the research on issues related to broadband access and provides data outlining the potential for service developments and to the exchange of ideas and experiences between students, universities, industry aswell as providing a virtual and physical exchange of students, teachers and companies. E-CLIC Groningen will act as sounding board for other partners in terms of broadband access/broadband facilities.
E-CLIC Groningen aims to boost innovation by providing an enabling, inspiring, and business-driven high-tech environment for these talented, ambitious and creative persons in the realm of new internet and broadband applications, high performance networks, service grids as well as of media business and gaming.
