E-CLIC Värmland
Key focus area of the centre: Mobile media services and processes for quality assurance
E-CLIC Värmland promotes innovation by running innovative and business driven research and development projects. Our main focus within the centre is on mobile media services, broadband infrastructure for new media services and service development, and enhanced methods and processes for quality assurance. Performance, security and usability aspects play a central role in many of the projects.
E-CLIC Värmland offers a LivingLab with advanced wireless broadband networking technology. It is located at Karlstad University and provides a physical environment where people can be involved in tests of new prototypes in a natural working environment. The LivingLab is complemented by test lab facilities at Compare Testlab where new services and products can be tested prior to commercial deployment.
